Graduation ceremony for 123 students of the Faculty of Informatics

USI Faculty of Informatics awarded 123 students of 20 different nationalities with Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degrees during a ceremony held in the West Campus Lugano Aula Magna on Tuesday, 29 November 2022.
The ceremony opened with a welcome speech from USI Deputy Rector, Prof. Lorenzo Cantoni, followed by a keynote speech from the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Marc Langheinrich, and a talk by Dr Friedemann Mattern, professor emeritus in Computer Science at ETH Zurich.
A total of 123 degrees in Informatics, including 30 Bachelor's degrees, 73 Master's degrees and 20 PhDs, were presented to the new graduates. The ceremony was complemented by speeches from representatives of the relevant study paths, the head of USI Alumni Service, Silvia Invrea, and alumnus Giacomo Inches, Senior Innovation Consultant at Martel Innovate.
The ceremony closed with remarks by Dean Prof. Marc Langheinrich.
